The goal of A&Z mechanical is to breakdown the stereotype of the typical heating contract and offer a professional, customer-focused approach to heating, cooling and home efficiency.

Zonn Thompson started A&Z Mechanical in 2001 after working in the heating and cooling industry for over 20 years. Zonn was particularly aware of the need for a higher standard of service and profesionalism in the industry. Providing the highest level of customer service and professionalism continues to be at the core of A&Z Mechanical's values. Zonn's reputation in the industry earned him the trust of custom builders such as Rampart Construction and Turnkey Construction.

In 2007, Rudy Thompson joined his brother Zonn at A&Z mechanical as co-owner and business manager. Rudy has his MBA in Operations Management and has worked in the high tech industry for eight years. Rudy's interest in energy efficiency has impacted the direction A&Z Mechanical has taken. The company has embraced the green movement. A&Z Mechanical would like to raise the bar as a heating contractor and use a whole house approach to address home comfort issues.

Both are graduates of Coronado High School and long-time residents of Colorado Springs, Zonn and Rudy are well aware of the specific heating and cooling needs of business owners and homeowners in the Pikes Peak Region.
